After, In the Ash

Our world is aflame.

Wildfire, like never before.

Hot winds fan the blaze.

Screaming across the landscape,

scorching all in its path.

And even when you think the sparks has gone

It still smoulders in the peat.

A few dry twigs and leaves is all it takes

to reignite the inferno blaze

Where is the panic?

Where is the hysteria?

This is not normal, it never used to be.

It wasn't but for our blissful sleep

in slumber we condemn ourselves to this;

a new normal.

An epoch of fire.

Your indifference is flammable.

before long your inaction will strike the match.
