Spoken Word: Poetry intended for performance in particular.

I think the best fits as a description of my efforts, it goes to why I only published Brexit In Verse when it was almost certainly too late. It was because the poems had already been doing the work, performed in Westminster, to the passing public or just the indifferent facade of the grand walls of what should be, but is not, our houses of parliament.

I do not believe poetry can do much sitting still between the pages of a book that will sit on a shelf because those I am speaking to are mostly just too fucking busy getting by under the oppression of capitalism.
