I don’t believe poetry can ever do much sitting still between the pages of a book.

I certainly think it fruitless now that any such book will languish on a shelf, barely ever read. This is no judgment of the book’s ostensible reader.

The theft of time for life has been a vital supportive beam in the complex, intricate, pointless self-eating-snake structure of capitalist ideology.

Keeping people just too fucking busy, addressing their primary needs, just surviving. This theft of time maintains the theft of the value workers produce.

As a confessional artist, I've already made myself a spectacle for causes countless times, I'm ready.

An actual leftist is only given a significant platform if they are either underestimated or accurately estimated to undermine the cause.

We will use ourselves as examples against them before they can make an example out of us.

What looks like a rope from which to hang ourselves is instead a series of trip lines and traps for whoever comes.

We won't recoil, we will fight on the hostile ground because to do anything else is to do nothing to resist being moved right with the already, intentionally, out-of-whack Overton window, further marginalizing leftist politics.

 Time is money because it is everything

Let me be clear- I only know what I know because I have the time to learn these things.

As a person that has a disability that causes chronic pain and fatigue, I am unable to work and have an awful lot of time that I am forced to rest which I can spend monitoring the media as well as learning from other public information sources.

Time is why I am doing all of this.

People think I don’t get what working life is like but I can imagine from what I see, even if only by the hole it leaves for someone unable to work at all, like me.

What I see is an overworked electorate, working harder for less spending more and more time, unpaid, commuting for work that is underpaid, by definition, as your boss steals most of your wage under capitalism.

The reason I so strongly object to the idea that ignorance of something disproves intelligence is that people are being sabotaged.

What chance do you have of knowing the truth when the time it takes to wade through our dog shit media is stolen from you.

In the context of this theft of time as well as your wage and it’s just rational in that position to have to address all of life and works demands and I won’t judge anyone for choosing to use those precious moments to just be the person they are with the people they love rather than spending the time and energy on being properly informed.

This theft of time means people don't have the time to learn truths about this system and the socialist ideas that expose the exploitation inherent in the status quo and explain why our economy and society, your life, is the way it is.

This awareness is known as Class Consciousness and is a necessary precondition for even the urge for populist change, let alone engagement in the pursuit.

Time theft maintains wage theft

 If more people understood this they can seek to change their lives the way self-help books never mention:

Political Action.

Much effort & capital has gone into propaganda and social engineering to make workers forget the power that We could wield should we unite.

capitalism needed us to forget.

Remember you are not immune to propaganda.

This amnesia is self-sustaining under capitalism.

Breaking down social solidarity, by confected conflicts workers are told they are in with people who could and should be comrades.

The fetishizing of that rational self-preservation justifies actual selfishness, intensifying the breakdown in class solidarity.

this has become (hyper)normalised, so now to speak of comradeship and change sounds absurd.

But it’s as I’ve said Before, I am a ridiculous person and I frequently tell That Intolerant Leftist that he’s a silly man.

We will make the case, never dodging the issue but fighting on the hostile ground, we will reflect the righteous anger you would be right to feel.

   I am quite ready to have the full force of a fascist state come down on my pre-doxxed self.

My husband, AKA The Intolerant Left feels the same. Granted it’s harder to incite such danger given the man I love will face the same. But I fell in love with a revolutionary.

He’s been at it a hell of a lot longer than me (obvs given the same age gap as between Frida Khalo and Diego Riviera - except not creepy as I met this year, age 29)

For anyone wondering if he is old enough to be my dad, in fact, there are only about 6 months a year he isn’t literally the same age.

He lived through the birth of neoliberalism, felt Thatcher’s violent anti GRT oppression, and watched the life drain from the Left. We need a cross-generational coalition of Leftist revolutionaries.
