When peaceful resistance is restricted

is it not madness to be constricted

by duty to a nonexistent democracy?

Already, under capitalism, a cruel absurdity,

made a sick joke by the power grabbing Brexit:

sovereignty - only for the executive.

But this shit; it’s the straw, it’s the break

that’s raised the fucking stakes;
