What is happening in Pakistan is one of the many pogroms

in this ongoing but unacknowledged genocide.

Let us review how this evilest act is defined:

"To deliberately inflict upon the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or part."

Is it deliberate?

To those of us who believe inaction is not neutral,

that's really beside the point.

What matters is that the calculations were made,

long ago and with them so many promises,

every one of them, to this day, betrayed.

The point is that they knew what was coming,

that knowing the consequences they changed nothing

the fucking point

is that, even now, the danger is so clearly here

they are still choosing to do nothing.

A choice is always deliberate

though they claim otherwise,

the neoliberal big lie:

"There is no alternative"

But, because this is fundamentally untrue

what we are seeing is the deliberate choice

to take action that’ll cause the deaths of billions.

Do they want to eradicate these people?

Possibly by now, with the rise of eco fascism,

but more likely is that they don't care all that much,

they already had these populations at their mercy,

genocide so often is plan B after slavery.

Climate change, an unintended consequence,

has destabilised the most effective system of exploitation

ever seen, the most efficient Empire ever seen:

it’s victims are not ruled over by white faces,

instead, concessions are coercively extracted,

their democracies corrupted under duress,

of the protection racket of World Bank and IMF debt.

All that’s not even to mention how, for a time at least,

this crisis is an opportunity for them, for more profit to reap.

The choice to press on along a path set to kill billions

Once the consequence is known, no doubt as to its deadliness,

you are responsible, genocidal,

and we will treat you as such.
