Power Grab no.2
The internal market bill is a Power Grab just like the Power Grab I have tried to inform everyone was woven throughout in the Withdrawal Act.
To be clear, because the news never was, the Withdrawal Act was not an attempted but an achieved power grab.
Learn more about the Withdrawal Act power grab, theft of rights and who gets extra screwed.
If you are struggling to understand how the insane International law breaking bill was passed by parliament, I can help you out there.
You see, Tory MPs have already compromised themselves regarding their democratic duties so completely by voting for that Power Grab, it’s not too far from there for them to pass this outrageous attack on devolution and democracy: the Internal Market Bill.
Expect a video on on new bill coming up and/ or mini videos, short enough to share on Twitter, with analysis of clips of individual MP’s speeches.
The reason for doing so is to demonstrate the gaslighting of parliament and attempt to redefine the role of parliament.
I promise I’ll work to ensure this won’t delay the other won’t delay the other very important one coming up beyond this week.
That other video that I’ve already been tweeting about is a recap of why we feared that Johnson & Cummings etc were a threat to democracy and an update of all of the anti democratic actions this government have actually taken.
Many of the violations of our democratic norms have been covertly conducted according to the shock doctrine.
The shock doctrine: make massive change during crisis when people are too busy with self preservation to advocate for themselves politically.
Much of what I will be telling you has been done at the height of Covid, they have used it as a distraction.
Anyway I could go on and on but instead I’ll get cracking on the videos promised.
I bet you anything 9 out of 10, if not more, even of politically engaged people will not have heard about this.
I’m really not trying to show off that I know something others don’t.
I am well aware that I only know so much because I don’t really have much of a life so have almost all the time in the world to research, monitor the news and watch the full debates in parliament.
For example, I watched roughly 160 hours of Just House of Lords debates on the Withdrawal Act.
My only concern has and always will be trying desperatly to tell people what’s in the Withdrawal Act Power Grab.
It is just unforgivable that they have suffered this material loss of rights and diminution of parliamentary democracy without being made aware.
Being so isolated certainly makes it hard to spread the word but I’ve been talking to anyone willing to listen, I have literally only met one person since the power grab was passed, (in it’s even more egregious than expected form) that had any idea of some of the most constitutionally shocking provisions.
I’ve put everything into this, atleast give the video about the Power Grab in the Withdrawal Act a chance.
You can always bail if you don’t think what I’m communicating is of any consequence but I seriously doubt any good faith actor could come away with that impression.
I know I sound full of myself. As an awkward person, promoting this work of mine, does feel super awkward. But I am confident in this work I can back everything I say up.
