YOU will be safe

Comrades, with the right comms you are safe. There have been no opsec failures on our part - nothing we were hiding that's been found.

Also bear this in mind, if you aren't an actual hacker the opsec is conducting ourselves like there's nothing we can do. Say only what you accept can be found (naturally our choices about speech mean a lot of hiding isn't necessary as it was THE point - A risk we have never condemned anyone for not taking) You cover your bases but basically assume that the surveillance state is capable of anything.

We warn those we speak to on signal to be aware that our contribution to the encrypted chat could be being watched (keylogging) and so to be careful with what they say because the State will be trying to figure out the context if it can see our side. Talking on such channels directly carries more risk for you as it's a closer association. If you leave comments we will address the points generally in a video or something. The point is that we haven't been caught on anything we've tried to hide, you are safe whether that's in showing solidarity with our without direct contact.

The safest way of doing the minimum right thing is obviously sticking with condemnation of the state rather than support for us.

What you have to understand is our comms being so risky is not an indication of a failure to construct the coms we want - our rhetoric and the risk it carries are intended.

We always intended to get noticed, we were not targeted because we were noticed by any means we were not consciously trying actively to get the attention of the British State.

We always knew there would be consequences and made countless statements to that effect. Bear in mind when we said "disavow us if you have to when the shit hits the fan"... bloody hell I didn't mean don't defend us against allegations of things we've never done ffs!

You can do both as I have many times explained though I will say if you broadly agree with us but think we went too far I can only ask, what are you waiting for? and remind you that we don't have the goddamn time. If you think a voice like ours will ever be a good thing then it's a good thing now because WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO WAIT.

The point was always "what if we all did this" - all we did was characterize the speech and advocacy differently and do it non-anonymously. All we did is say we aren't Revolutionary Left. we are Leftist Revolutionaries.

It's always been about all of us we were just prepared to go first which is not at all new for me. MeToo was the result of all of the people who were relatively few doing confessional activism about sexual abuse - As I did in Art and then poetry since the age of 17. Being prepared to risk my entire self and be vulnerable in the hope it will encourage others to do that thing too is literally what I have always done so when I become sure that Revolutionaries that call themselves that are needed today and we don't have time why wouldn't someone like me with so fucking little to loose with a life that regularly becomes intolerable, do that?

We have never cast shade on anyone ever for not taking the same risk despite the aim being that people do and, for clarity, we always defended anonymity (that's the point of the channel name cos Ellis has never been anon, we were making the point that our non-anonymity was no repudiation of anon actors, what we really wanted people to join in on is the recharacterization of all of us as revolutionaries seeking revolution now rather than people who will phone in the apocalypse by talking endlessly about their belief that revolution would be good.

If not now, if not all of us, then who and when? The hour is already far too late to wait.

Time to reflect I think for many. Respectfully I remind you of these things because that's what this was all about and what kills me is the idea of suffering the consequences we are facing now if nothing at all will come of the risk we took other than putting off anyone else whoever considers doing the same and providing a template to States to take them out, at least in so far as alienating people trying to push the fight FORWARD from the movement ensuring it stays in stasis until time runs out.

Please watch this interview to hear more about how expansive our concerns are about this failure to stand up to a blatant psyop and seize the opportunity or sacrifice provided to us all, as well as what it feels like to sacrifice a life that only just got good to provide this opportunity - which this really and truly is - feels like.
