The window for a workers Revolution is closing.
#WeAreIntoletant of zero hour contracts, oh and the wage theft that occurs in every form of employment.
Workers will only be free once we control the means of production. We must do so in time before automation for once replaced, a general strike is impossible and therefore no longer leverage we can use to secure true democracy and liberation.
You think our call for revolution absurd, I assume this is down to disbelief that a revolution will come, if so I have two things to say -
We cannot trust our leaders so it’s on us and apathy like that, doing nothing is patiently waiting in line following the corral that winds around the slaughter house of capitalism.
Obviously the revolution will never come if no one ever discussed having one.
I’m more than happy to sound absurd, take the long shot because should workers and oppressed people Unite, after all, as they say,
“all we have to loose are chains."
In today’s world of robots and climate change though requires a change in the phrase: perhaps something along the lines of:
Workers and Oppressed people unite,
Be warned, before too long, we won’t have anything to lose at all.
(It’s a first draft, I’ll have to keep polishing that Stone)
returning to the sentiment that though sympathetic to our politics believe revolution is impossible so say it is pointless taking about it.
You know what,
in the context of absence
of revolutionary calls to action,
you’re actually right , no shit
The revolution you want
but insist won’t happen
will never fucking happen.
Nice one, truly, Well done,
isn’t being right such fun?
So go ahead, pursue different tactics,
as I say: resistance must be holistic
reformists have our support as well as critique
So please, do us all a favour if your only issue is
feasibility, maybe don’t denounce or take the piss
doing so only makes more unlikely
The revolution you agree we need
Just, in which you can’t yet believe.
Yet
My life’s work is now clear to me.
