Strategy & Action

Tolerance of fascism is complicity.

Inaction is not neutral, morally.

This is not democracy.

They have no decency.

All of this is true, indeed,

but the urgency of ending the harm inflicted

If it is to end it, must be balanced

with any possible action’s likely effectiveness.

I say no strategy without action but, remember comrades,

neither should there be action without strategy.

Because -

if we don't want to be a flash in the pan;

something -

that can simply be put out.

Patience -

is how we ignite an inferno of justice; flames

that all the injustice of neoliberalism couldn’t tame.
